Menzies Support Services provides Social Support services to people living in the Murrindindi Shire

Social Support brings people together, helping you stay connected with your community through engaging social activities and outings:

  • Outings for shopping and entertainment
  • Activity groups according to your interests
  • Outings to events and special attractions
  • Group meals in Alexandra and Eildon
  • Local gatherings and events of interest

Social Support is a Commonwealth Home Support Program service

Social Support reduces the risk of isolation for older people in our community, providing opportunities to connect with others, and form new friendships. If you are interested in receiving these services, please contact My Aged Care and ask for a referral for social support.

Our programs and events are held on the lands of the Taungurung people and we wish to acknowledge them as Traditional Owners. We would also like to pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging and Aboriginal Elders of other communities who may be here today.
